Issue Description
I am writing to formally register my complaint regarding the extremely poor handling of IT services by the GECE IT Department, specifically related to my laptop purchased from GECE.
1. August 18, 2026- I submitted my first complaint because my laptop, purchased from GECE, was not turning on. I also suspected a battery issue. I was told the laptop would be sent to the vendor.
2. After 4 days- When I followed up, I was informed there was a "conflict with the first vendor" and that the laptop had been sent to another vendor. No clear timeline was given.
3. August 20, 2026- To avoid wasting more time, I brought my second laptop for software installation. The IT department kept it the whole day but did not check it. The next day I was told it "does not have enough storage" and the complaint was closed. My first laptop issue was also marked as "resolved" even though it is still with the vendor and not returned to me.
4. August 21, 2026- I submitted a second complaint stating that my original laptop issue is still not resolved and requested it be reopened.
5. August 31, 2026 - Today - I came to the IT department again in the morning and requested that at least 3 required softwares be installed on my husband’s laptop today because I am facing severe difficulty. I have been attending Ms. Rahima’s online classes using only my mobile phone, which is very difficult. Despite my request, no installation was done today.
Because of all this negligence.I will now do everything myself.
